Ligi Ndogo select side, Planets, are in Manchester  to particpate in the Umbro international cup. A total of 400 teams from 25 nations will be taking part in this year's tournament and it is our hope that the boys will surpass their previous achievements.For more information on scores and fixture updates,see our homepage.

The trip to Manchester started on the 27th July and ends 2nd August. Five teams have travelled:An under 18 side, under 15 category,the normal under 13, 11 and a nine and below side.

In 2004 we had the previllege of participating in the tournament for the first time where we bowed out at the quarter finals stage. In 2006 we went did much better and became the first African team to win a trophy in the under 13 plate category. In 2007 we retained the under 13 plate trophy. 2008 saw our best performance ever as we won the main cup in the under 12 category. This year we will be all out to defend the trophy. In addition, the planets side has been invited to play Liverpool F.C Academy while in the UK.
