Mars and Pluto have equal chances of winning the title on the last day.On the Junior sideMeteors One can beat Neptune One to wrap up on the last day.The climax of the day will be when league leaders Meteors One take on second placed Neptune A at 11.20am.They are separated by a point.
The Mids is also as tight.Neptune lead Mars by three points.Mars needs to beat Neptune by eight goals to win the league.They had won the first match 1-0 and hope to be in impressive form.Jupiter plays Pluto.The Suns are currently placed last but hope to finish strong as most of their players are returning from a tour of Manchster.Pluto had beaten Suns 4-1 in the first encounter.
TOP SCORERS
Kalama Andre(Mercury,9) and Timona Lukale(Pluto,8) battle it out on the last day for top honors.Timona arrived late but has solidified his position as a portent scorer and one of the best players among the Atoms.He scored all four when Pluto beat Mercury 4-1 in their previous encounter.
Neptune A's Jessey Jonyo(24) is going to be the Junior top scorer.That is unless second placed Benjamin Otai(Pluto One,15) can score nine goals in the remaining two games.The Juniors have recorded a steady rise in goals scored.More than 49 players have scored at least a goal.
Alex Mutwiri(Mars) leads theMids with 17 goals.He has been scoring more than two goals per game.Mutinda Mutuku(Neptune,13) is expected to challenge him on the last day.However Odundo Omollo(Mercury) is also tailling Mutinda.
