Njoki Saya she recieved a scholarship last Year after aplying to the school and sending a vedeo of her playing at Ligi Ndogo. It was purely a God blessings because i had applied to several schools, but felt this one was right. Daughter of Missionaries the second born in a family of four, two boys and two girls, Njoki's football career started way back in Ivory coast in the late 90's where she played her first full match in Abidjan..Upon coming back to Kenya I had about Ligi Ndogo and started attending their trainigs on thursdaysa and Fridays playing our league matches on Saturdays. " I got a rare opportunity to travel with Ligi Ndogo's planet select team to Kampala Uganda where we played several international friendly matches with the Kamapala Kids League. Even though we did not win, it was a good exposure to international competition for me. "Ligi Ndogo Has moulded me as a player giving me a base on which to pursue my favourite sports as well as giving me a chance to get a scholarship" Njoki's words of advice for Ligi Ndogo Players " I urge you all to take pride in this opportunity you have not just to play football, but to become a much better player and evventually, a better person. Run every warm up sprint every sprint like it was your last, Go the extra mile because your feauture depends on it and lastly trust in God He will make such a huge difference in your life" At Ligi Ndogo we are proud of her achievements and wish her God,s blessings and best of luck in her footballing career. |
