LIGI NDOGO S.C

Ligi Ndogo's upward quest to top football is on the right track with their qualification to the Nationwide league after a successful campaign in the Nairobi Province Super League. Ligi S.C is a self supporting soccer club fully sponsored by Ligi Ndogo, It emerged as a result of players graduating from the top level of the Ligi Ndogo leagues. After the first batch of players graduated from the seniors age category of Ligi Ndogo, a avenue was required for them to continue pursuing their soccer interest hence the founding of Ligi S.C.

Initially Ligi S.C had to content with friendly matches against carefully selected opponets. After registering impressive results in friendly games Ligi S.C felt confident enough to enrol into a league. This was the private schools league as all Ligi S.C players were still students in junior High School. Ligi S.C managed a decent semi final spot in the first season and won the league on the second attempt.

Ligi S.C then moved up a notch higher and enrolled in the highly rated Kiko cup tournament. Here the true test for Ligi S.C started where it had to battle hardened and experienced sides. It held it's own and manged to go out on penalties agaist Black Stars in the quater finals, then one of the most feared teams from the Kibera neighbourhood.

Later Ligi S.C enlisted for the K.F.F division two league, The competition was certainly fierce but the other teams paid dearly for their over confidence whenever they came up agaist Ligi S.C. It has been a steady climb since then through Super 2 and playoffs and currently Ligi S.C is in the Nationwide League, 1 step away from the premier league. It has been an exciting and challenging experience for Ligi S.C from its inception to the present.The players and management look forward to playing in the premier league with great optimism. The targets are high; to move up the ranks as quickly as possible and then after that target continental football.
